Dennis McKeon of D. McKeon Heating & Air Conditioning Gets Hammered For Violating GA State Law
The Mechanic’s Responds® Investigative Team has prevailed! The CLIB (Construction Licensing Board of Georgia) has issued a "Letter of Concern" regarding the advertising practices of Dennis McKeon of D. McKeon Heating & Air Conditioning.
This
is essentially a "Public Reprimand" against Mr.
Dennis McKeon of D. McKeon
Heating & Air Conditioning. According to the State's web site, a "Letter of
Concern" is one of the methods used by the State of GA (CLIB) to penalize individuals and Companies who
violate State Law like Dennis McKeon of D. McKeon Heating & Air Conditioning has
now essentially been found guilty of.

This is quite a fall from grace for the once proud past President of CAAG (Condition Air Association of Georgia).
Dennis McKeon of D. McKeon Heating & Air Conditioning thought it was fun to attack other HVAC companies and cast them in a bad light the way he participated with the "tabloid press" in setting up Mechanic's Heating & Air Conditioning, LLC back in 2007.
Maybe Dennis McKeon of D. McKeon Heating & Air Conditioning can learn a valuable lesson: "Let He Without Sin Cast The First Stone"
Mr. Dennis McKeon of D. McKeon Heating & Air Conditioning definitely gives the HVAC Industry a "black eye" with his illegal behavior.
The Mechanic’s Responds® Investigative Team will let you know if we receive any comment from CAAG, Mr. Dennis McKeon, or D. McKeon Heating & Air Conditioning.
Part I - Investigative Report
Is
D. McKeon
Heating & Air Conditioning, Inc. complying with
Georgia State Law?
The Mechanic’s Responds®
Investigative Team has done it again! In a Mechanic’s Responds® News
exclusive, and in conjunction with our continuing efforts to expose unfair
practices of the BBB and related unfair Trade Associations Practices, Mechanic’s
Responds® has turned the tables on the former President of the
CAAG - The Conditioned Air Association of Georgia.
In a complaint filed today with the Georgia State Construction Industry Licensing Board Division of Conditioned Air Contractors, Mechanic’s Responds® has listed out many alleged violations by Mr. Dennis McKeon and D. McKeon Heating & Air Conditioning, Inc. Most of the alleged violations involve Mr. Dennis McKeon's alleged failure to follow Board Rule 121-6-.04 with respect to recent yellow page ads taken out by D. McKeon Heating & Air Conditioning, Inc.
In this reporter's mind, a more serious matter is the alleged unlicensed plumbing contracting being advertised, by Dennis McKeon's company, D. McKeon Heating & Air Conditioning, Inc., in these same yellow page ads. A review of these same yellow page ads does NOT show any plumbing license listed, another alleged violation of the STATE CONSTRUCTION INDUSTRY LICENSING BOARD RULES. As evident by TITLE 43. PROFESSIONS AND BUSINESSES CHAPTER 14. ELECTRICAL CONTRACTORS, PLUMBERS, CONDITIONED AIR CONTRACTORS, LOW-VOLTAGE CONTRACTORS, AND UTILITY CONTRACTORS, a person or company whom performs installation of “Water Heaters” and / or “Expansion Tanks” must carry a plumbing license in conjunction with TITLE 43. In Mechanic’s Responds® opinion, Mr. McKeon is in clear violation of TITLE 43 by performing plumbing work without a State Plumbing License.
Remember, back in 2007, Mr. McKeon decided to "help out" (What a kind man!) with the "trash tabloid press" in order to highlight alleged wrongdoings against a fellow competitor, Mechanic's Heating & Air Conditioning, LLC? At that time, in the CAAG's 2007 4th quarter newsletter, the then CAAG President Dennis McKeon bragged about how Mechanic's got hammered by the tabloid press. Mr. McKeon's published statements at that time, in part, was "This type of company gives our industry a “black eye” in consumer trust and respect.".
Well
guess who now has problems of their own to address? That's right, it now
appears to
Mechanic’s Responds®
that Mr. McKeon is giving the HVAC Industry a "black eye" and
undermining "consumer trust and respect" by engaging in many
alleged violations
of Georgia State Law!

First, the online dictionary defines karma:
Hinduism, Buddhism. action, seen as bringing upon oneself inevitable results, good or bad, either in this life or in a reincarnation.
Wow, now that's karma!
Perhaps Mr. McKeon needs to stop trying to become a tabloid TV star, or a "big whig" Trade Association President, and rather concentrate on making sure his own house is in order!
